Donald Williams

Donald Williams, 60, of Peoria, IL passed on February 16, 2025 in Peoria, IL. He was born to Donald and Mary Sue Williams in Toledo, OH on June 13, 1964. 

He served proudly in Operation Desert Storm where he was a Transport Operator. He came home and worked for Cook Rentals for over 20 years. 

Donald is survived by his mother, Mary Sue Williams Pekin IL, sister Kim Elliott Williams Pekin IL, brother Rick Williams Pekin IL; 3 children: Melanie Steinseifer (Marcellous Pollard) Peoria IL, Breanna “Breezy” Steinseifer-Williams (Dustin Salter) East Peoria IL, Tyler Williams Peoria IL; one step daughter Tori Rodts Pekin IL; two bonus daughters, Naomi Rogers Clifton TX, Nikki Ewing Peoria, IL; 6 grandchildren: Nyara Steinseifer, Hayden Steinseifer, Tabia Carrasco, Natalee Ward, DJ Green, Weston Salter; 3 step grandchildren and multiple others that called him dad or uncle Donny.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Williams and brother, Ed Williams. 

Don loved chatting with people and would crack jokes any chance he got.  He loved telling stories and didn't care if he had already told you the story before.  He had a passion for music.  He loved playing the drums and blasting music as loud as it could go.  He was truly an amazing man that will be greatly missed by anyone that knew him.

A celebration of life will be held April 27, 2025 at the American Legion in Bartonville from 1-5pm.  Anyone who know and loved Don is welcome.
