Edward M. Parrott

Edward M. Parrott Sr. 80, of Washington, Illinois, passed away on July 10th, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time.
Edward was born in Peoria, Illinois on October 20th, 1941 to William and Bernice (Kalb) Parrott, he graduated from Limestone High School and married Donna Irons on October 4, 1969 in Peoria.
Edward is survived by his children Ginger (Brett) Nye of Washington, IL, Brent (Michelle) Parrott of Lynn Haven, FL, Edward (Amy) Parrott Jr. of Peoria, IL; grandchildren Brenden, Madysen, Liam, Nicholas, Lauren, Bobby, Nick, Nathan, ten great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving is one brother Russell (Bonnie) Parrott of Pekin, IL and one sister Sandra Rusterholtz of Pekin, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna. Both of his parents, William and Bernice; his two sisters Delores and Lois; his three brothers Billie, Earl, and Glen; and two granddaughters.
Edward worked at Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery for 24 years as a machine operator. He ran Parrott’s Television Repair with his father for many years. He worked as a bartender at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 365 for 20 years. He was a bartender at Mt. Hawley Bowl for 5 years.
Edward enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and playing poker. For many years Edward was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 365, American Legion Post 979, Moose Lodge of Pekin and Hanna City Sportsman Club.
