Gyla J McIntyre, 80, of Peoria Illinois, died on July 10, 2022 at her residence. Born on December 6, 1941 in Gibson City Illinois to the late Guy and Loretta (Noel) Marshall. She married Bernard McIntyre on September 27, 1997 in Dunlap. Bernard died on March 9, 2012.
Gyla was a beautician in Peoria for over 40 years.
Gyla is survived by her daughter Deborah Roe of Peoria; grandsons Ian and Evan Roe; one brother Ronald (Joanne) Marshall and two nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Donna Currie in 2011.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. The family has been assisted by illinicremation.com of Peoria.
