Homer Hobert Eddy, Jr.

Homer Hobert Eddy Jr., 73, formerly of Peoria, IL died on February 6, 2025 at Lacon Rehab and Nursing. Born on October 22, 1951 to the late Homer and Marion (Krahenbuhl) Eddy.

Homer served his country in the Marines during Vietnam War. After the Marines he moved to Layton, Ut and worked for Rasmussen Sprinkler Specialists. And for the last four years, he’s been a retail associate at the Southside Mission thrift store. He was a member of Smoke’n Aces Poker. As a long-time Phil Koeppel Karate Student, Homer achieved the level of Black Belt. He also belonged to the United States Karate – Do Kai association.

Homer is survived by his daughter Heather (Jonathan) Romero of Henderson Nevada; brothers Thomas (Sandy) Eddy Sr. of Washington Illinois; Michael Eddy Sr. of Peoria, IL; and granddaughters Madison & Sophia Romero of Henderson Nevada. 

He was also preceded in death by his sister Sally Snook and brother Jay Eddy.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com.
