Jake E. Isreal

Jake E. Isreal, 80, of Sedgewickville Missouri, formerly Chillicothe Illinois, died on July 8, 2023 at Richard L. Owen’s Hospice Home in Peoria Illinois. Born on January 12, 1943 to the late Ernest E. and Evelyn (Vandello) Isreal, he married Shirley Carruthers on December 7, 1989. She survives.

Jake was a laborer for Advanced Asphalt for over 35 years. He served his country in the Army in Korea from 1964 to 1966. Jake’s favorite pastime was going to auctions and collecting stoneware crocks. His crock collection is quite impressive.

Jake is survived by his children Zachary (Ellie) Isreal of Chillicothe Illinois, Michael (Brooke) Carroll of Rome Illinois, Jessica (Billy) Carroll of Clearwater Florida, Angelia (Christopher) Hadley of Richmond Texas, Scott Hall of Peoria Illinois; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
