James Willard Hardmeier

James Willard Hardmeier, 83, of Sparland Illinois, died on July 23, 2024 at his home. Born in Lacon Illinois on December 19, 1941 to the late Willard and Helen (Carmichael) Hardmeier, he married Joanne Lester on April 14, 1962 in Lacon, she survives.

Also surviving is his son Keith Hardmeier and wife Kari of Lacon, granddaughters Tiffany & Hannah; and four great grandchildren.

Jim worked for Caterpillar as in quality control for 30 years. He also worked the till at Sav Mor Liquors in Lacon part time. Jim enjoyed relaxing at home with the wife or the grandchildren.
