James Dale Hittle

James Dale "Pink" Hittle, 77, of Princeville Illinois, formerly Peoria illinois, died on September 12, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 17, 1946 to the late James and Marguerite (Thomas) Hittle, he married Donna Bouton in Peoria on August 21st, 1981. She survives.

Jim spent his career as a truck driver at TCF in Peoria for 20 years, retiring in 2009. Jim also loved spending time with family, especially grandchildren. He loved children and always wanted them happy. He liked following NASCAR & wrestling. He also enjoyed a little bit of fishing and especially traveling to different Casinos.

Jim is also survived by his children, Heather (Mike) Anderson, Keri (Nick Weir) Hittle, Jamie Hittle; brothers Sam & Rich Hess, Dave & Tony Hittle; sisters Ruth Houlihan, Cindy Waters; grandchildren Kelci (Brennan), Mason, Sophie, Kaitlyn, Bryson, Evan, Cody, Kayleanna, Braiden; and a great grandchild Greyson. He was also preceded in death by siblings Bud Hess, Shirley Dunham and Donna Barton.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
