East Peoria — Judy A. Marquis, 81, of East Peoria died peacefully on Saturday January 8, 2022.
She was born March 13, 1940 to Dana and Eunice (Baughman) Deitz in Freeport, Illinois. On February 7, 1959, she married George W. Marquis Jr.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Jeffery T. Marquis of Freeport, Illinois, Paul S. (Karen) Marquis of Browntown, Wisconsin, and Charles D. (Theresa) Marquis of Peoria, Illinois, plus four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one niece.
Judy earned her Real Estate license in 1971 and was an active agent until her retirement. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the Christmas holidays, when she always made it a big event.
Entombment and services will be at Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum in Freeport, Illinois at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or Alzheimer’s Association. illinicremation.com has assisted the family in their time of need.
