Judith E. Johnson

Judy was born on September 28, 1942 in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY to Richard and Frances (Kovalczuk) Lent.   Judy married John Johnson on November 30, 1968 in Otego, NY.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy is survived by her husband John of Brimfield, IL,  children, JoAnn Johnson of Brimfield, IL,  Jennifer Johnson of Urbana, IL, stepdaughter Debbi Johnson of Danbury, CT, her grandchildren Megan and Mason Gargiulo of Brimfield, IL, and her sister Janet Lent of Unadilla, NY.
After high school Judy completed cosmetology school, worked as a hair dresser, and ultimately owned her own hair dressing business while raising her children with her husband John.  Judy lived in Unadilla, NY, Pittsfield, NH, Peoria, IL, and most recently Brimfield, IL since 2020.   Judy enjoyed watching her children and granddaughter ride and show horses competitively and was always actively involved in the horse show world.   Judy also enjoyed baseball, and eagerly attended Chiefs games and her grandson’s games at the Christian Center.

Cremation rites have been accorded and their will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House and cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com
