Kevin Todd Conarro

Kevin Todd Conarro, 58, of Hopewell Illinois, died on June 6, 2024 at his residence after a long battle with cancer. Born in Peoria Illinois to the late James and Marilyn (Ahlstrom) Conarro, he Married Jane Miller on July 26, 1986 and they had one daughter, Amber Conarro. Amber passed away on July 11, 2023.

Kevin is survived by his grandchildren Kaden Todd Conarro; granddaughter Madisyn Michelle Donath; brother Randy Conarro of Streator Illinois; and Jane who returned to Kevin‘s life after the loss of their daughter and cared for him until the end. Kevin was also preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Pyles, father James Conarro, and sister Brenda Rayburn.

Kev, as we all called him, was handyman and construction guru for his friends, building and repairing anything that they needed. His skill and attention to detail was matched by none. He was All American, he loved fireworks, Chevy trucks, Budweiser, and the USA. He also loved spending time in the woods, riding his four-wheeler or sitting quietly drinking a beer while a 12 point buck tells him to go away from where he beds. He always loved his pets, including his last faithful dog Scrappy. Kevin was a true friend and will be dearly missed by many. 

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a celebration of life in Lacon at Zoomies on July14 from 1-4pm. Wear your favorite concert shirt . Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
