Lorana L. Ashford

Lorana L. Ashford, 50, of Peoria, died on July 11, 2022 at River Crossing of Peoria surrounded by her family. Born on April 5, 1972 in Peoria to the Clyde Ashford and Lura Ann Kramer. She worked in health care facilities in Peoria and St. Paul MN for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Lorana is survived by her mother Lura Ann Kramer of Peoria; son Justin (Andrea) Ashford of Peoria; daughter Keyonna Ashford of Peoria; sisters Lafelda Hightower of Peoria, Shalanda Ashford of Peoria, Erica Ashford of Indianapolis IN; Brothers Demarco Williams of Peoria, Michael Ashford of Indianapolis IN; special Aunt Sharon Kramer of Peoria; special cousins/best friends Anthony and Angela Kramer also of Peoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lorana was preceded in death by her father Clyde Ashford  and grandparents.
Lorana loved to spend time with her family playing cards. She loved everyone unconditionally and had a bright smile and a kind heart. 
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family was assisted by illinicremation.com of Peoria.
