Lynda Highwater

Linda Highwater, 73, of Moline Illinois, died on June 5, 2023 at a OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on June 13, 1949 in Texas, while her father was stationed there in the Army, she was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.

Linda is survived by all of her special grandkids. She loved going to church and hanging out with family and friends. She also loved all her dogs. As a free spirit she valued her Cherokee heritage.

A special thanks to the Foursquare Church congregation of East Moline, and the parishioners that donated to her final expenses. Also, a special thanks to Jenna and her family for taking Sadie and taking good care of Linda throughout the years. She always said she would be in heaven with her parents, brothers and sisters, having a big fire and party while dancing around it.

Cremation rights have been accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at the Foursquare church of East Moline in the near future. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
