Nanette Marie Nixon

Nanette Marie Nixon, 61, of Peoria Illinois, formerly Galesburg, died on September 11, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 29, 1962 in Santa Clara County, California, to the late Fred and Joanne (Zeirke) Wall.

Nan is survived by her son Robert J. Nixon and his three children Robert III, Lincoln & Serenity Rose Nixon; daughter Crystal Savanna and her partner Heather Mitchell, and their children Imagen Athika, & Troy Savanna, Abby & Owen Mitchell, and Madison Scott; her brother Michael Biggs. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Verda Jo Nixon;  brother Mark Wall; and sister Tamara Wall-Harvey.

Nanette liked working with wood and reading. She spent most of her life assisting others in their times of need.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be scattered along the bay in California. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
