Renate Mason

Renate Mason, 67 of West Peoria, Illinois, died November 25, 2022, at Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Born in Hachenburg Germany on April 12, 1955, to the late Hubert and Margaret (Schewe) Einheuser. She married an America Soldier, Alan Stenzel and had to two children. Renate is survived by her 3 children, Jill Ann Stenzel of Peoria, Jonathan Lee Stenzel of West Peoria, and Nicole Rene Stenzel of Pekin. Renate has 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She retired from Caterpillar in Morton, IL as a Logistics Analyst. She was an avid gardener and loved attending to her plants, flowers, and food gardens. She loved crocheting and made many keepsakes for her loved ones. Renate also loved cats, as she fostered and adopted many over the years. Renate was an amazing cook and loved her children and family dearly. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are no services at this time. Memorials can be made to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin IL in her name and Illinicremation.com is assisting the family.
