Robert Duane Murdoch

Robert (Doc) Duane Murdoch 62, of Peoria IL passed away on August 28, 2024, at OSF Transitional Care in Peoria. He was born March 5, 1962, in Peoria to Dennis Murdoch and Mary Beth (Williams) Murdoch. Robert is survived by his Soulmate Heidi Sweet, Mother Mary Beth Magnuson, two sons Justin Murdoch, Taylor Murdoch their mother Ronda (Sperry) Murdoch and his sister Tonya Murdoch. He is proceeded in death by his Father Dennis and Brother Denny.

Robert was raised in Chillicothe IL where he attended Illinois Valley Central High School and was part of the band/chorus.

He worked for Consolidated Linen, Professional Maintenance and Streamliner Carpet in Peoria IL.

Robert enjoyed camping, spending time with family, friends, and his beloved pet Zena. He loved music as he was a great vocalist who enjoyed sharing his talent with others listening to music and going to concerts. One thing he was very passionate about was making others smile and he spent many years playing Santa Claus for the Peoria area putting a smile on the faces of so many precious children.
