Sharon K. (Guthrie) Davis

Sharon K. (Guthrie) Davis, 76, of Peoria Illinois, entered into eternity on November 20, 2023 at OSF Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Born on August 28, 1947, in Peoria to the late William and Ethel (Weir) Guthrie. She married Isaac Davis on February 6, 1965 in Peoria. He survives. Sharon is also survived by her three sons: Lonnie, Mark, and Jason (Jennifer) Davis; and one daughter: Loreece (Marvin) Hightower. She was a proud grandmother of: Brandon Davis, Alonzo Khouaja, Ashley Hightower, Mylah Hightower, and Amelia Davis; two brothers: James Guthrie (Muriel), Donald Guthrie; four sisters: Eunice Easly, Patricia (Arthur) Williams, Marguerite (Michael) Edmonds and Theresa Roland. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother William Guthrie, Jr., and one sister Jeanette (Steven) Hopson, and one grandson Jacob Davis.

Sharon loved to cook, feed, & take care of everyone around her. She loved her church and served faithfully until her health failed.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will be held on December 9, 2023, at 11:00 am at Liberty Church of Peoria, 2828 W. Flint St., Peoria, IL 61604 where condolences can be mailed. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to her church.
