Stephen Alan Adami

Stephen Alan Adami, 75, of Dunlap Illinois, died on December 4, 2023 at his residence. Born in Pekin, Illinois to the late Maurice and Jean (Arbogast) Adami, he married Betty McCoy on April 14, 1989 in Las Vegas. She survives at home.

Steve is also survived by son Aaron (Samantha) of Dunlap; stepson Tim (Wendy) McCoy and granddaughters Katie and Violet McCoy of Fayetteville, New York; Sister Carol (David) Sharp of Mapleton, Illinois; and brother Tim Adami of Flowery Branch Georgia. He was also preceded in death by his sister Nancy Wagnaar.

Steve served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971 in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan.  He achieved the rank of E5 staff Sergeant as a C130 aircraft specialist. Upon returning home, Steve worked for Caterpillar as a machine assembly specialist at Mossville Illinois for 38 years. He loved fishing in Chetek Wisconsin every summer with his family. Steve enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying nature.
