Susan Jean Goodin

Susan J Goodin, 63, of Pekin, IL. Quietly passed away at her home on Sunday, May 29th, 2022 after a seven year long battle with cancer. Susan was born in LaSalle on June 10th, 1958 to the late Joseph and Jean Centko of Streator, IL. Also Preceding her in death was her first husband Frank Schmit, father-in-law Gerald Goodin and sister-in-law Jeri Hilst.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years Jeff Goodin of Pekin,IL; brother Joseph Centko of Streator,IL; Two sons Jacob Schmit of Groveland Il, Joshua Schmit of Pekin,Il; Stepsons Tyler Wiliams and Alec
Goodin both of Pekin, one Stepdaughter Hailey (Mustafa Elbachiri) Goodin of Normal, IL and grandson Rayan. Stepmother Joanne Goodin of Pekin, in-laws Jeannie (Mike) Couri, Joe(Susie) Goodin of Pekin, Janel (Mike) Schneider of Pekin, John Goodin of Pekin; and many nieces and nephews.

Susan loved people and spending time with her kids and family. She loved animals and had many dogs in her life. Susan also loved reading, painting, drawing, sewing and quilting.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Memorials can be made to Taps Animal Shelter of Pekin IL and condolences can be left at illinicremation.com
