Susan Flora Springer

Susan Flora Springer, 63, of rural Sparland Illinois, formerly Coos Bay, Oregon, died on May 15, 2023 at her residence. Born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on December 12, 1959 to Gerald and Barbara (Reuteler) Millon. She married Roy John Springer Jr. on September 28th 1985 in Apple Valley California .
Susan was a R.N for 40 years. She worked 10 years in surgery and recovery. She then worked 26 years in Geriatric care and four years in Hospice. She really loved being a nurse and caring for people. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and canning and most importantly spending time with her family. She loved to go to the ocean and spend time at the beach. This was her Happy Place. 
Susan is survived by her husband Roy; her father Gerald Millon ;her daughter Jessica ( husband Zach) Whitehurst ; step children Troy Springer, Shari Nelson, Kimberly Springer; sisters Holly Maskall and Patricia Yoshinaga; and 11 grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cards can be sent from and condolences at illinicremation.com
