Thomas Richard Nevin

Thomas Richard “Tom” Nevin, 66, of Ottawa Illinois, formerly of Grand Ridge Illinois, passed away at his daughters home on December 13th, 2022. He was born on November 27, 1956 in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Richard And Norma (Robertson) Nevin. Tom grew up in Grand Ridge with his parents and siblings. He stayed to raise a family there too.  

Tom worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He loved animals, especially his cats Tigger and Jewel. He also liked traveling, Cadillacs, going to the movies, and a great steak!  Tom was a kind, generous, loving father and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Heather and Amanda Nevin. 

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Tom will be interred at Hillcrest Memorial Park Streator Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Illinois Valley Pet Rescue or the American Red Cross. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com
