Timothy A Gavin of rural Brimfield, died Monday, January 16th, 2023 at OSF Medical Center.
Born December 11th, 1951 in Peoria to Thomas and Velda Gavin of Kickapoo. Preceded in death by one son Joseph R Matarelli and one sister Teckla Gavin and one brother, Kenneth Gavin. Surviving are 3 daughters, Angella (Bryan) White, Talacia (Roy) McWhirter, and Amanda (Joseph) Keller
Also survived by 3 brothers Thomas J Jr, Dennis (Linda), and Neal Gavin. 4 sisters Connie (Richard) Munton, Paulette (Terry) Grebner, Gale (Fred) Gilbert, and Roxanne (Ken) Dietrich.
He had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Tim was employed by Peoria and Pekin Union Railroad, Amtrak, and then EJ&E Railroad before retirement. Cremation rights have been accorded. Services will be on January 21st, 11 AM at St Mary's Church in Kickapoo IL.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Foster Pet Outreach of Edwards IL.
